This is what he is like most of the time when he is awake! he is always really happy!

Moebi 2 months old

Moe really like hanging out outside on his blanket in the sunshine while I hang out his nappies.

Moe in his hut. We have discovered that the fan being on will also spin the toys which is his best thing, if the toys stop moving he gets mad! Moe really like to have a bit of time on his changing mat with his nappy off but his new favourite activity for summer is lying on his mat with the fan blowing on his bare bum.

Moe usually has naps with Ruban during the day. Today though he woke Ruban up by doing a huge poo, some of which leaked onto the bed! Gross.

Some Gisborne family photos

Moe did quite a lot of cuddling up and sleeping when he was in New Zealand.

We had a garden party to eat the cake saved from Jen and Ruban's wedding and to introduce Moe to his Gisborne family.

Moe liked Aunty T to read to him and holding Alice's hand. Alice was made for Jen when she was a little girl.

Uncle Tim and Rita came for the weekend to meet Moe and he liked the photo session with Nana Mary and Daddy.

We stayed with Bev before they all went back to Portland and Moe had a nice snuggly bath with Grandma Judi who was very sad to see them all go. Moe was being very smiley and gorgeous.

Portland

A few pictures of Moe hanging out in our room. he has his own little corner which he some times hangs out in but mostly he likes to be in bed napping with his dad or hanging out with me reading books or doing washing out on the deck. He is really starting to get into toys and books now. He also likes to spend as much time as possible with his nappy off.
He has a few new things which haven't been photographed yet. A lovely green tub which he has baths in sometimes. He didn't like it much a first but now I put a blanket in there for him to recline on and he thinks it's swell. I think he prefers to have showers with Ruban though. yesterday he actually fell asleep in there.

He also has a new stroller which we will take to the super market for it's first mission tomorrow.



I'm just thinking that most of our pictures of him are so bad and blurry! He is always squirming and we never want to use the flash and blind him. We will have to work on some proper out outdoor pic's to put up.

Moebi in transit

Moe liked his flight with air New Zealand to San Francisco. He cried a little bit when we first got on and I started thinking... Oh no here we go... but then he was fine, especially once we were in the air and they had bought him his little sky bed. He pretty much stayed in there the whole time either sleeping or just hanging out and enjoying the motion and white noise. What a lovely boy.

The most comfortable passenger on the whole flight with all hi own blankets and books to keep him happy.




When we got to SFO he had a big play on the seat in the transit lounge. All in all he was a wonderful little traveler and made the trip much more fun for us.

More Moe

Moebius is almost two months old now!
He is enjoying living in Portland and especially likes sleeping in with his dad and lying about with his nappy off when it is hot.
We have had a few hot days but it is still on and off. Today is cold but the spring flowers are so beautiful.
We are all settled into our house now and it is pretty much like we never left. Moe has lots of cousins here who love holding him and hanging out. He even went to his cousins volley ball match last week.
He is growing very fast and everyday I have to put aside some cute little suit which no longer fits him. He is much more interested in the world now and gets bored if he has to look at the same thing for too long. He smiles so much and is really happy he even has a funny little laugh although we don't get many of those yet. He is also getting really into stories and also music, although music usually makes him fall asleep.

MARYLOUBIUS
This is Moe and Marylou having their first band practise . We stayed with Julian and Peggy in Auckland for almost a week before we left but I don't think M & M managed to get a song together. Moe liked Marylou's toys though.

We took Moe to see Grandma Deedee at work. He seemed to enjoy the show and wasn't frightened by the haka.
